Project: “A Day in Italy” (Diretto) Facebook Application
Anyone who has ever received a postcard from a vacationing friend can appreciate the longing to travel that comes with it. That was the very idea behind Emerge’s social media app for the Italian travel website Unabellavista. The post-card shaped application teases Facebook users with a new word, a new picture, a new taste of Italy every time they look at their profile. These daily temptations are so tantalizing they have to be shared. And who better to share them with than the people on your Facebook friend list?
Word is spreading fast. For many, getting the Facebook postcards isn’t enough, they need to take action and look further into who is behind Unabellavista.com. That’s what we call, getting the message.
