Emerge lit a fire under Flames supporters with the UIC School Spirit Widget. But it’s UIC fans who really turn up the heat—using the application to follow University of Illinois news, get the latest team scores and find out about school functions. Fans can also take advantage of links on the widget to shop for UIC gear and tickets. Best of all, though, sponsored links on the desktop/web widget have turned the campaign into a revenue source.
UIC Athletics wanted a way to encourage students and alumni to buy into the collegiate experience on a daily basis. Emerge’s School Spirit engages the Flames’ fan base in award-winning fashion, and we did it with money to burn.
