Emerge knew the online community that follows Sherrilyn Kenyon’s Dark-Hunter series is as pervasive as the vampire characters that inhabit the books. What better place to fan the flames of excitement for the forthcoming book than the social networking platforms Facebook and MySpace? The Dark-Hunter fan base agrees, especially since the applications encourage user-created content. The fans get one taste of our specially designed apps and pass them around the net like any good vampire should.

As part of the campaign launch, pre-sale orders for the soon-to-be-released book, “Year of Acheron” rose as fast as the hair on the back of a scared reader’s neck. And as with any good social media campaign, those numbers didn’t dry up when they were exposed to daylight.
